I am currently trying to decide if a take home final is a good idea. Hmgh. One more full day of this until August.

A nice summation of tonight.

This is a picture of Liz’s phone, with Ken on the line, and then Ken (in the background) on his porch, watching us watch him. Creepy. We stopped in the middle of the street to talk to him and view his latest picture-for-hire service for a while. Good times.

She spotted these sitting beside a telephone pole at some random red light. So whilst stopped, she hopped out and picked two for us.

What was there to do today while I had no finals? I could have studied for the upcoming ones, yes, but alas, it was too pretty outside…so I climbed in the car and decided to go on a little drive. My company on this particular trip was a mellow mix of Rufus Wainwright and Neko Case. So I was twisting around the far side of Huffaker Road and Mr. Wainwright was singing me his version of the blues (The Maker Makes). Below are two of the scenes from this small tour.

Why this?

Well I will tell you, good sir. These thoughts, ideas, and portraits of the world around me have long needed a place to be aired out and given the chance to grow and mature. Before, when they were suppressed, their creator/owner simply neglected them until they died a simple death with no flowers or mourners, and buried in the lonely cemetery named Back Burner. Mostly, it is for me.
